Transmission Shifting Late..

Transmission Shifting Late..

So i left work today and the car drove fine and when i went after stopping at the light the trans wouldnt shift until 3k rpms driving normal for every gear...so i got to my house just the trans fluid(its full and red).notice it seemed pretty hot..so i let it cool down for about 20 mins and it drove fine...any ideas?

(94 trans am lt1 auto)

You should put a trans cooler on it.

For sum reason I thought they already had a trans cooler on them...doesn't the trans lines run to the radiator

so from a cold start it did the late shifts around 3K exactly every time in every gear...and sometime in will drive normal...at one stop light it will shift at 3k rpms and the next one shift fine...any opinions?
