Question Transmission oil cooler into Oil cooler. Can I?

I installed a b&m transmission oil cooler with the little plastic strips through my condensor etc etc. I did a nice job and it served me well but I swapped in my T-56 and have the hoses poking out ready to be tapped to cool somthing else. I removed the hard trans cooler lines that were installed.

Can I flush it out and use my oil filter relocation kit to plumb some lines and make the same cooler into my engine oil cooler? I dont see why I could not. The line pressure is the same or less right? This would be nice if I could do this and lower my oil temps by 20 degrees and be able to reach under the nose of the car to change the oil filter I already ordered the filter relocator with 49 inches of hose and two filters... The cooler compatibility would be the icing on the cake.
