transmission mount

I just put a new transmission mount on my 94 Z28 like three months ago and its already busted this is my second one in the year i have owned the car does anyone know why this keeps happening? I do have a pretty heavy foot but friends of mine never have this problem anyone have any ideas?

Get a stronger mount. Like the 1LE.

You know, you may not be able to get that anymore. Go to Speed Inc and get the poly one they sell. The downside to it, its going to transfer some vibration to the car. By all means shop around though for your best deal, they just came to mind first.

i could be wrong on this but i though i read somewhere that if u use a poly trans mount without the engine mounts u run the risk of cracking the bellhousing

I have never heard that

Im not sure if it makes sense See if you can find whatever it was that you read.
