transmission maintenance

I have a 94 camaro z28 with 130,000. I need a tranny flush. Someone told me that there can be problems with the tranny if u flush it rather than just change the fluid in a high mileage older car like the one i got. What do you think? Also I am getting a coolant flush and the older cars (94 and under) used the green antifreeze rather than the orange dexacool. I have the green stuff in it right now, will I run into any problems if they replace it with dexacool instead?

Stick with the green coolant and don't completely flush the transmission. MHO.

BTW, it is Dexcool, not dexacool.
