What plugs are you talking about?

I didn't think the v-6 and v-8 bolt pattern was the same

So you're doing an LT1 and 4L60E swap into your V6 T5 right? Just trying to get it straight first. Now what plugs are you talking about? The 4L60E doesn't have a shifter, it has a shift linkage arm on the driver side of it. There are two tranny cooler line connections on the passenger side body, and the tranny wiring harness connector on the passenger side going into the valve body. There is also the dipstick hole on the passenger side, right behind the bellhousing. So what are you talking about? Picture?

The electric plug? you need the automatic engine harness and PCM to swap to a 4l60E

What v-6 do you have...I know the 3.4L 60* v-6 is not the same bellhousing pattern as a SBC or LT1

I did this swap, and most of the plugs you dont have to worry about.
it called the transmission position switch or CPS switch.

Do a search for m6 to a4 swap and you should get all the info you need.

I am 90% sure you dont need any of them hooked up

The 6 wire plug? The wires are for neutral/park switch (no start except in park or neutral), reverse lights (that one you will need) and I forget what the other 2 are for
