Transmission guys in HERE!!!

I am rebuilding my T-56 and I have pulled most of it apart of the top end. I am at the Reverse Shift Fork. The way this is suppose to work lol, is I remove the snap ring for the shift fork and the synchro assmbly snap ring and it is suppose to slide right off. But NO! This thing will not come off, even tried to beat it off. Any Ideas?

You're sure you removed both snap rings? Do you have a gear puller?

Well then if you have a gear puller I would try that, there really isn't any reason why it shouldn't come off with one.
