Transmission cold dipstick reading.

As we all know these 4l60E's can be a very touch transmission when it comes to fluid level. I'm having a little trouble with my dip stick reading while the engine is warmed up. I'm probably just being ****, but with a brand new rebuild I don't want to take any chances. Can anyone out there let me know and or attach pics of their fluid level while the engine is cold so I can cross reference it with my warm readings.
Thanks

Doesn't it say cold/hot on the dipstick?

That 80F mark is the cold mark. It doesn't take long for the oil to get to 80F once it's started.....

Re: Transmission cold dipstick reading.

I have never known a tranny that was checked when it was cold, only hot.
