transmission or clutch?

Hey guys,
I just noticed that its getting a lot harder to put my car in gear and sometimes when I'm down shifting while still at a roll or when I'm sitting still and put it in first gear, it makes either a very faint grinding noise or a high pitch squeal (almost sounds like brakes squeeking). I don't think it is my clutch because there is still plenty of play in it. What do you guys think?

you have a junk slave and master cylinder

change em both to the 01-02 slave/master

push the clutch in, let it out, push it back in and it should pop into gear

BTW- this should be in the drivetrain section
