Will a 94 c1500 trans work in my 94 z28, what needs to get swapped over or changed?

 

Yes. Both the same unit with the exception of the tailhousing, which you can swap over. The truck trans also won't have the "Corvette" servo that the F-Body trans has.

Thanks for the reply, I will drop mine out and do that, I would like to put a new servo in and not use the old from my transmission since the truck trans just got rebuilt, pretty much stock except for a few updates nothing high performance oriented, a stock one will be fine, do you have a part number for one, I looked at a few websites but not sure which one to get, also what would happen of I just leave the truck servo in place?

 

I have a box full of Corvette servos that I've taken out of transmissions. We use billet servos in our race 4L60Es. I'll give you one I have here if you want to pay for shipping.

Thanks for the offer but, talked to the shop I am getting it from and they will put one in free of charge and the tail housing swap with a new rear seal just need to leave the old one, if I have any problems I will post again, thanks again.
