Trans question

I just changed my trans fluid and installed a derale trans pan on a 97 4l60e. Started car up and I had trans fluid dripping from the housing between the trans and engine. There is a small hole in this housing it was dripping from. It dripped about two ounces on the ground and stopped? Also I have a shift kit in the car. When I put it in gear the first four times it shifted like I had no shift kit at all then it started to shift hard again. Has not leaked since is there something wrong?

I'm not certain about what may be causing the shifting issues, but it sounds like to may have got some fluid in your converter cover when you dropped your pan.
Keep an eye on tha Derale pan...They're notorious for leaking around the tubes.
