Since installing my converter I hadn't brake stalled it to see what it would stall up to and I have been curious. In order to find out I put the shifter in second to keep from spinning the tires in first. I held the accelerator to the floor and let the transmission stall up. After doing this I let of the accelerator and the brake and let the car roll forward. I then put the car in drive and it would not shift out of 2 gear no matter what drive position it was in(1-2-3-D). Could I have set a transmission service code causing it not to shift. If so what can I do to fix it. I have the battery disconnected in hopes to clear any codes that have been stored. Please help if you know what happened to my trans.
