tranny's slipping what to do...

tranny's slipping what to do...

i've got a 94 z28 with bolt on's some engine work, everything but the tranny and now its slipping and starting to go...what should i do? rebuild and throw in some 3.73s and 3200 stall? help out, i dont know jack about trannys and all thanks

Sure, if money's not an option. That's quite an expensive feat. Sounds about like around 2000-2500$ for all that assuming you don't get a Vigilate stall!!

I got a GMPP (GM Performance Parts) tranny from the dealer for 1200$ with a dealer 3 year warranty (you can install it, they fix it if it goes bad) It's got upgraded servos, shift kit and mild stall already installed. (unfortunately it voids your Tranny warr. to put in your own TC, but if you have problems, you can take your own 3200 back out and put the 2000 rpm TC back in, just don't tell! ) If your not near a good an reputable rebuilder (ie. the last rebuild you will ever need handling all the power you can muster) then this may be a decent option.
