Tranny Pan leaking!

Tranny Pan leaking!

well I believe my pan is warped because of it not sealing its leaked before , Do all 4l60e's have the same type of tranny pan ?
I know these trannys are used in alot of gm cars just wanna know if there all the same so I can find a replacement pan easy

4l60-E Pan

I think the 4L60E pans are all the same. If your going to replace it you have several options. For Daily HP Street driving, I would replace it with an O.E.M. style 1 extra qt. pan with drain plug. It's about 3/4" deeper than stock.

Make sure you didn't over-tighten the bolts. I used to do it by feel until I got a torque wrench, they always leaked some. Last 3 times of pulling the pan and using the cork gasket torqued to the spec ( 18lb-ft? ) no leaks and thats with no permatex or other gasket sealer.
