I was leaving a friends house and launched it for my friend at 2400 rpm and it hooked hard! Now 1st and OD are not working? What happened? I have a TCI 3000 stall!!! Please help if possible!!!

Sounds like possibly a broken planetary. Pull the pan and look for a bunch of metal.

I started it up next morning after it cooled and it shifts fine again? Then I launched it 2 times pretty hard and 1st and OD went out again. Let it sit 5 minutes and they worked again? Im totally lost?

It sounds like your tranny is on it's way out. I would be nice to it and start planning on a built up auto/manual so you'll have all the stuff you need when it does go and you won't be stuck with doing a stock rebuild or something. That's really wierd how your first and fourth went though.. my 3rd and 4th went, I'm in the middle of a T56 swap as we speak. There was a while there where it would take a few seconds to shift into third, it was like that for a couple months before it went, and that was all the warning I got.

On another note you may want to check your fluid and make sure it's at the proper level. It probably is, but it's an easy fix on the small chance that that's the problem.

I have took it out many times since it messed up, hasnt gave me any problems at all. I did have to lower 1-2, 2-3 shift points on Hypertech -1 to get it to actually shift right, but seems to be working great right now?

That's not really that surprising, the electronics on these cars stink, and the tranny is also sensitive, so tweaking could solve problems. I wish mine had been that easy. When mine went, it went quick.
