Angry Tranny leak.

For a while now I have been having a small transmission leak which seemed to have stopped itself, the weird thing is that tranny was hardly leaking at all until I go to add a little fluid and it started leaking again. So could it be the pan maybe? Also would running a shift kit cause a leak in a transmission to increase?

Re: Tranny leak.

The tranny has a breather tube mounted on the top of the housing. If the fluid level is too high, fluid will puke out of this breather hole until the level is lowered.
