Tranny issues?

I've got a 95 TA M6. A while back i started to hear a chattering noise from the transmission and with time, it seems to have gotten louder. I came to find out that my TO bearing had worked it's way loose and then my clutch started to wear out. Well, I havent driven it a whole lot since the clutch started slipping but when I do drive it, it is sometimes hard to get the car into first gear, even with the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. Also, it feels pretty rough just switching into all of the gears. Could this just be the worn out clutch not engaging very well or could i possibly have some internal tranny problems?

I've got a new clutch that i'm going to install pretty soon and i'm hoping this will take care of the problems. But I don't know a whole lot about tranny's.

Thanks for any input,
Adam

Put the new clutch in and you should be fine. I had the same thing happen on my Pathfinder. You already have the clutch so just go do it.

Yep, your clutch should be causing those problems. Do the install and be done with it. I'd try not to drive it much untill then....

Thanks alot guys. That's what I was hoping to hear.

And also i'm not gonna drive it anymore until I install the new clutch. It was so nice out today, I just HAD to go for a joy ride with the t-tops out.

Make sure you have the flywheel re-surfaced!

and if you have the flywheel resurfaced be sure to use whats called flywheel savers (shims) so your slave doesn't blow out on you.
