Exclamation Tranny Experts Need your help

Im going to try and make the story short.. I messed up my tranny and im low on cash . So i bought one at a junk yard. Here is where the problems begin..

I installed the tranny and it was working fine for a couple of days.. But I kept on hearing a weird noise.. Sounded like something was slipping. I actually thought it was the differential at first.. I ignored it.. Then i was driving around gassed it like 40 to 60% throttle heard the noise again then after that the car didnt want to move.. D is gone 2nd works when u gas it 50 % throttle and reverse works fine.

The tranny has 30 day guarantee ive had it for at most 10 days. So i called up the junk yard they told me to take the car so they can take alook at it . They offered to play the tow truck.. So i took it and they are saying its burned.

After some hours of waiting i talked with the manager and he says he will pay and replace any parts that might of caused the tranny to get burned from normal use..

Question is what was that metal sound/feel when the tranny messed up? And what can cause this..

I know this guy is going to try and say that its from racing . So i thought id post around here to get informed first before I take the tranny tomorrow.

Thanks

Hey, sounds like the junkyard really took good care of you, I think kudos and a location would be cool.

Not really... This guy was really being a d*ick .... I almost had to get the cops there .. He replaced the parts that needed to be replaced but hes not giving a guarantee ..

either his fixing it with cheap or used parts and he knows its going to go out soon again.
