I had posted a while ago about a rattle coming from the shifter area of my M6, well I took the car into AAMCO and found out that my output shaft is done, so it's going to be 270.00 plus parts for the fix. And I was hoping it would be something simple. I'm just putting this on here so if anyone else is expieriencing the same problem, this might give some insight because other than the rattle, everything else was fine.

 

Just got the total cost of my tranny rattle, 1300.00 for the new main shaft, bearings and 5/6 gear, ouch!!
