Tranny Advice.

I hope this is in the right section - forgive me if it is not - just got off a 14 hour shift.

Anyway

I am almost done with the motor!!!!

and now i need to figure out the tranny

-its a T56 from 1993 - ( Borg Warner on the side)

Should I -

- Have this one rebuilt ( Where - on Long Island)
- Get a remanufactured one ( Where - on Long Island)
- Attempt to fix it myself ( ehh....)
- Other Tranny?

Please keep in mind i will be needing the transmission asap so long work turnaround is really trying to be avoided that is why i am thinking of doing some sort of waranteed exchage . I would LOVE to find somewhere on the Island.

Please Let me know

-Brad-

Thanks!

Motor will have a bit over 400 at the crank and rear will eventually be 3.73 's now have 3.23's.

Any Special work i could do in the tranny ( to make me want to have this one custom built)

I have also found the ball park figure for a rebukt tranny is about 1400 which is right in my price range ( broke after the engine) ha ha Please keep this in mind.

I dont need a super tranny i just want this engine / tranny to be as new as possible and with all the work in the engine - not to match it would be a shame.

Sorry for the ALL OVER THE PLACE format of this post but im exhausted - Thanks in advance and good night.

-Brad-
