Torque Converter holes not lining up with TCI flexplate.
Torque Converter holes not lining up with TCI flexplate.
Ok I went ahead and installed my new TCI flexplate because my old stock one was cracked in three places. I bought a YANK ss3600 torque converter and put it in. After I put the tranny back up and bolted up, I went ahead and tried to line up the holes for the flexplate and stall so I could bolt it up. When i tried to, the hole wouldn't line up, I can spin the torque converter and turn the flexplate with a screw driver so its not like I can't line it up, and I spent about 30 minutes just trying to see if I screwed up anywhere. Now I heard you might have to drill out the whole for the flexplate, is that true and has anyone done it? Im sure theirs someone out there that has a tci flexplate and Yank stall, I can't see using that paper thin flexplate and a large stall. WILL I NEED SPACERS??!?!?!?? PLEASE HELP. i want to finish this up tomorrow!!!
