Torque Converter

Im doing a couple little mods to my 94 Z28 A4 like the LT4 Hot Cam and .30 over pistons and a couple little bolt ons not much. I was wondering what torque converter I oughta use Im thinking a TCI Breakaway(2400) what do you think I should go with? And also when I go on Summit and Jegs they have where you can choose Lock Up and Anti Ballooning or something what does that mean and should I get either of them?

I have always used either ATI or Coan converters, so I can't tell you anything about TCI. As far as lockup, you definitely want a lock up converter. You do not need an anti-ballooning plate. Also, this should be in drivetrain.

Lock up yes, anti ballooning only if you ever plan on spraying nitrous while you have that converter. If you are going to get a converter I would get nothing less than a quality 2800 stall, which would be paired pretty well with the hot cam. But if you decide to go with a 3000+ stall you need to have the "stall wall" programed out of your PCM.
