Stay away from B&M, unless you like potential problems, TCI is a little better. Yank, Vigilante, are the best. Edge and Midwest are good from what I hear. Except for GER (out of busines from what I have heard), the B&M has the highest comeback ratio on torque converters out there. Remember when the TC goes, so does the transmission in most cases.

What other mods do you have??? Call which ever company and give them your specs and they can tell ya what size you should run. I'm with the guy before me. I would go with TCI, Yank or Vigilante.

Its rated at 2800, but just like most converter they will stall higher depending on your mods/hp

I put new bolts in, it is cheap insurance and yes it should bolt right up.
Make sure you get the converter to engage properly with the front pump.
Took me a couple of tries to get it right, I also poured 2 quarts of fluid into the converter before installing it on the tranny.

As far as I know all torque converters are a direct boltin, but you might have to drill the flywheel holes (3) alittle bigger depending on the size converter bolts they give you, some companies use bigger than stock bolts. No big deal thou.

No you do not need a better gear , The converter will work great with 273 and nitrous . Just do the converter first and if your not happy , spring for some gears, 342s are sweet.
