tires, drivetrain related?

if so my question is this
what is a good size slick or drag radial for an M6 car with 4.10's in a 12bolt, full exhaust, other minor bolt ons
i've got a friend with some 27x15" Hoosier slicks that i might buy and i need to know if that is the right size for me?

heres a link to tell you a little bit more about the car...

I had 315 nittos on my car for quite a while, with 4.10s and full boltons with the tire pressure at 20psi. I was leaving at 4000-4500 riding the clutch to prevent any bog and had no traction problems(this was on the street as well). I assume that you have more power but unless you're looking to leave really high you'll be fine on a nitto or a bfg. However a slick will always be better but just remember that the added height will effectively lower your overall ratio so if you are shifting at 35 in first you'll probably be shifting at 37 on the 27 inch tire.
