Time For New Rear End!!!

well, i've gone through about 3 rear ends now due to various complications, the first being a bad carrier unit, as well as some other problems. I've decided that i need to move out of my old 10bolt. I currently have the factory limited slip with a 4.10 gear. Im looking at possibly moving to a Dana 44 if it fits or maybe a 9 inch if i can get the money. I can get the Dana44 for practically free so that would be best. Does anyone have any input on whether those rear ends will work, if it is worth it, and what measures will need to be taken to fit it to my 96 z28. I know that the torque arm mounts won't be there, any input is appreciated. Thankyou
