Think it's time for a 12 bolt (see inside)

Ok so the car I bought came with a upgraded Torsen unit that had 4.10's in it. Well that rear end went bye bye about a month or so ago. A friend of mine gave me a stock 10 bolt that had after market 3.42's in it. Here's my problem.

The rear end whined from the very beginning. Now, sometimes when I give it gas hard there is a LOUD popping noise coming from the rear end. I mean it is LOUD. At first it was only when I gave it gas hard. Now, when I go around corners it is making the noise also. Last night I got under the car and adjusted my suspension and installed my LCA relocation brackets. I did notice that the torque arm was hitting in a small place on the tunnel but other than that there wasn't anything noticeable that would make it bind and pop REALLY loud like it is doing.

Not only does the rear pop but it feels like something is binding up and the car won't turn easy and jerks really bad.

Is it more than likely the rear end?? If that is the case then I am going to say F it and just order a 12 bolt tomorrow.

Any input would be appreciated.

I planned on doing that tonight. Think it could be the rear?

It is hitting further back about a foot away from the rear. It looks like it is rubbing but there isn't any sign of it actually binding on it. I know what it sounds like when a torque arm hits and this is A LOT louder and like I said it actually jerks the whole car when I am going around turns.
