is there enough fluid?

tonight i started changing my shifter for a short throw. when i got it all apart, i was not sure if there was supposed to be any fluid showing or not. there is a very small amount showing. is that about right or there supposed to be fluid in there? thanks. i'm waiting to put it back together until i know something.

Re: is there enough fluid?

well you won't see any in the shifter area.. unless some splashed up there.. which is likely.. so don't worry.. to ckec the level pull the fill plug on the side of the tranny...
