So i finally got around to put my tranny in.its been sitting at the shop for 2 weeks.iv'e been so busy at work i havent had a chance to do it.it feels good driving her,its been almost a month and a half!it shifts great,no more popping out of gear and reverse!and i have 4th back!

BIG PROPS GO OUT TO T-56REBUILDS.COM! THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!(THEY EVEN CALLED ME ON THIER WAY HOME FROME THE LSX SHOOTOUT TO GET THE BALL ROLLING ON REBUILDING MY TRANNY.)

NOW I GOT TO DO THE BREAK IN,THEN I CAN PUT SOME HURT TO SOME LS-1'S!

 

Glad to hear it. I got a rebuilt tranny from them as well, got about 1500 miles on it and still very pleased.

 

are you talking about the new name six speeds inc.? what did they charge you for a rebuild? and was everything rebuilt back to stock?

 

yes,i f'd up.they did a complete rebuild.even if you get a stage one,its good 4 700hp,unless u have a 2.97 first like me and thats good for 500hp,but she said i may hold more.there is a few guys out there with more than that on the 2.97 first.
i got a stage one package plus a new fourth gear,fifth gear and reverse plus a new 5-6 slider.check em out.my tranny has been great so far,but its still not broken in

 

I got a stage 1 from them as well seems to work nicely except a gear whine in 2nd.
