th400 dipstick question
hey all. can anyone tell me how far off the bottom of the pan the dip stick sits? i had to shorten the tube and forgot to save the piece i cut off for mesurment. thanks. stock pan th400.

ok so i was reading that the hot running fluid level should be about pan gasket height .. is this right? if thats the case i will just measure pan heigth and mark dip stick for proper fluid level. ?
