Textrailia review(30 miles). M6 question. This clutch is cool!

Hey guys, My stock clutch was slipping some. I got the Textrailia 0z700 and its cool. I got new polyutherne motor mounts too. Very stock feel and shifting gears seem better and smoother.

1. Starting off is a bit tricker I guess any tips with this clutch(I haven't been driving this car a lot and with the cam .600 lift and this clutch its going ot take me some practice)(insert your fav m6 tips lol)

2. What does a pilot bushing do? The shifter feels a lot more connected and better I don't know if this made the difference or the new clutch.

Anway I'm really happy with this purchase(ws6store.com) and the feel of this clutch. I know you don't "need" a break in but i'm going to shoot fo rthe 500 mile vary the rpm's.

I see a lot good things on this clutch on some other boards..but very little here. Any of you guys on this board use this one?

Thanks!

why the hell don't you "need" a break in?? any clutch setup i've known requires a breakin!!!

took nearly 1000 miles for my Spec 4 to quit chattering and fully break in.

you should try putting an aluminum flywheel on a cammed car with a heavy clutch...talk about tricky to pull out from a stop!!!

Thats directly from the website no break in. Most people still reccomend the 500 mile stop and go. This thing with 0 miles didn't chatter, felt real close to stock, grabs great. I dont' think you can beat of these clutches. Many people took it to 5k dumps on drags in the same day on the other boards. I'm going to take it easy on mine.

The 99, as you know they have not came out with the lt1 clutch kit. So there only good for the ls1's right now.

Very good clutch, don't seem to hardly get any press on this website, while others are flooded.

Clutch is still kicking butt. I would highly suggest this clutch if people are looking for a beefy upgrade.
