tci converter wont bolt up to flexplate

tci converter wont bolt up to flexplate

i have a ls1 with a th400 trans and the center section of the converter wont go into the block...the mounting plates stick out too much.....whats goin on what do i need? tci flexplate???

Is it a TH400 Convertor with the Pilot extended for a LS1? A off the shelf TH400 vertor will not bolt up properly without the pilot being extended.

Any of the convertor makers can do it.
