I here the TCI converters are a little loose. I have a Midwest 3000 Stall converter with 2.5 STR and a shift kit and it rocks. If you do go with a TCI converter make sure you get a shift kit and a tranny cooler. Like I mentioned they are a little loose. If I remember correctly they have approximately a 2.0 STR.

Good luck,

Al

I have a TCI breakaway TC which is a conservative stall of about 2400 to 2600.
I have no complaints at all so far, I have about 1500 miles on the new tranny/TC setup.
Alot of guys suggest BIG stalls but I am very happy with mine and don,t think I would be happy with a bigger stall.
But it depends on what your going to do with the car, lots of racing? Go bigger.
Lots of street driving? Go smaller.
Just my opinion.
