TCI 3000 on stock motor?

Is this a good setup? All stock motor, wanting to improve my takeoff. I looked at it because of the price and I heard their decent from a few people.

i think tci are very unefficient...they will launch hard, but up top they just eat up power...for the price range fuddle was great to me...i now went with a yank little more expensive...i personally believe a stall is what can make or break an automatic car...ive seen 800+hp vettes running high 10's and i didnt it with barely 450

The stall ratio is fine on a stock motor, but the brand is a different story. Maybe look into a Fuddle converter, the price isn't much more and they are a more reputable brand.

You won't be happy with a TCI in an A4. We've used stalls (Vigilante, ProTorque, and Yank) as high as 3500 with "bolt-on" LT1's.

The OEM size 12" converters just don't get the job done. Go with one of the brands mentioned above in a 9 1/2" and you'll launch hard.

I wouldn't buy a TCI or fuddle, you get what you pay for.
