OK my TC is offically dead and I finally got myself a job and I need my car back NOW!!!! A few questions:

Any suggestions a a TC for my car? It has a Built 700R4 with a TransGo shift kit in it and according to my ex-tranny guy the trans should be able to handle up to 600hp(my car is no where near that!) but its only been 1.5-2 years since the rebuild and its gone to crap on me! He said that NO manufacturers offer warrenties any longer than 6 months! I will NOT replace my TC everyother year! It lasted 16 years with the original one- and no one I know has ever had one go out on them this quick!!! What could happen that would casue it to go this quick? It has never been to the drags, it has no major hp behind it...could it have somthing to do with how hard the car shifts since the rebuild? He told me that the bearing could of been bad and thats why they dont warrenty them for long...

After driving my car my tranny guy said it was the TC for sure and to put in some Lube Tech but most likely its already gone....so I tried it and called him again to tell him its just getting worse-undrivable- and now suddenly he thinks we should rebuild the whole thing again for $800- No way! Im positive its the TC just getting worse! SO thus he's our EX-tranny guy...tired of his BS and him always trying to talk us into something else(thats how I got this built tranny-we just wanted the bands replaced in the old one!)

My cars not anything high hp'd and it would only be for spirited daily driving-able to handle traffic and do well in the cayons and at the drags(well it will suck at the drags no matter what, more like good from light to light)
