Tc ??

Hay guys I am getting ready to put a new TC in my car and I was wondering when the infamous 3-4 band goes out will it take the TC with it?

Thanks

The only three reasons to replace a converter is:

A) Converter broke/inop TCC
B) Overheated (will have a blueish tint to it)
C) Metal contamination

If none of these apply, its OK to re-use it. So to answer your question, a burnt 3-4 clutch pack will not damage your new converter. Of course you have to pull the tranny to install the converter, why not upgrade the clutches while its out, so that its the last time you have to pull it?
