t56 swap question(cable)

t56 swap question(cable)

Iam in the middle of doing a t56 swap.that cable that goes from the auto shifter to the steering wheel..what do i do with it?should i just leave it out?

that is the interlock cable, I would just take it out.....How are you hooking up you ntrl. safety switch?

I went from 6sp to auto....TH350 so i'm sure that is a little easier than what you are doing

there' a write up on ls1tech.com . it' on lsx cars but it will get you going the right direction .

You dont do anything with that line once its out. Yes there is a wright up on the swap. Do a search and type in afrash or t56 swap. Its very good

To get that cable off, just drop the steering column down, and I think it's just 1 or 2 screws hold it onto the top of the column .

yeah thats what I meant when i said take it out.....if it ever gets binded up or shifted around wherever its laying at it may cause you a problem down the raod
