are the tail housings between the ls1 and lt1 t56's the same and swappable?

 

Yes, the lt1's say Borg Warner and the LS1's say Tremec but they are the same. I confirmed this when I went to D&D performance. I bought a new tailhousing from them off a brand new Tremec LS1 T56 to replace the one on my 97 LT1 T56. Direct swap.
