t56 growling

Okay, ill keep it short. IT growls under acceleration in any gear range. when you let off the gas it stops or quiets down a ton. If the trans is in neutral while rolling it does not growl with the clutch in or out. It makes some growl when in neutral with the clutch engaged sitting at a stop. Sounds like an input shaft bearing ? yes no?

Probably the throw out bearing, or the pilot bearing.
