I blew the rear out of my car and picked up a new one from the junkyard. It turns out something was rubbing inside the pumpkin on the new one. When driving the car i noticed acceleration was kind of jumpy, and the whole car vibrated at highway speeds. I have now upgraded to a 12 bolt so thats not a problem now. After driving the car with the junkyard rear in it (about 20 miles), the transmission developed a slight grinding sound in all gears. It seems to me like the shift linkage may be out of alignment but I am not sure. Any thoughts on this would very much appreciated.
