T56 Clutch Fork issue

On the LT1 T56 tranny, is there a spacer that goes between the clutch fork and the front plate of the transmission where it bolts on?

The issue is the clutch fork contacting the pressure plate upon mashing the clutch in. This is due to either myself being a dumbass, and not tightening the clutch fork down enough, or a missing spacer.

Hope you guys can help me!

No spacer. Chances are you don't have the fork engaged properly onto the throw-out bearing.

Still having this problem. Does the spring on the throwout bearing wear out? Anyone else have this issue? The clutch fork, when installed, rattles around loosely, and still makes contact with the pressure plate when installed.
