T56 to Auto??
I was thinking of trading my 95 6-speed for a 700R4 or a 4L60E.What I need know is should I have to change the drive shaft.What ECM Should I get.My car is a 1995 M6 luge tubes,373's

You'll need a new crossmember depending on which tranny you switch to. If you switch to a 4L60 the driveshaft is the same as the M6, not sure about the 700R4. Also need a converter (obviously), Auto console w/ shifter, and change settings in the PCM. Did I miss anything?
i'd keep the t56
i love my auto but the cost and labor in my opinion isnt worth it.
youll need a flywheel (flexplate) also.
i think the crossmembers are the same
driveshafts are the same
if you go with the 700r4 your comp will work 4l60e is electronically controlled so you will need the pcm to control it i think the m6 pcm will do it but you have to get it programmed to do it.
just wondering why would you go to a4 from m6 in my o they are pretty equal each has their pro's and con's
