Well I dunno what to do guys, the past month my transmission has been vibrating horribly when come to a stop in 1,2 and 3rd, and somtimes you can feel it vibrate between shifts in those gears. Well tonight all of the sudden I was heading out to walmart, and I shifted down into 4th at cruising speed, and it locked my shifter into 4, so I had to push with all my might to get it out of 4th, and finally it went when I got to lower speeds. Well all on the way home, it shifted into all gears except 3rd, and now when I try and shift it into any gears, it grinds horribly, and simply won't come out of 4th. Is it my shifter, or the transmission?

Mine did the same after shearing all my synchros after a hard night at the track. I've seen other manuals stick in gear with the wrong type of fluid put in. And finally....I've seen them stick with the wrong ammount of fluid. The fluid actually turned into a nice foam. Check your fluid first but I'm suspecting a hardware issue inside the box since you have vibrations. If you've had the tranny removed make sure it's still attached to the motor
