Suggest a converter

I have a stock LT1, headers, full exhaust, intake, rebuilt 4L60E, tranny cooler, LCA, PHB, STB, SFC's, QA1 springs and shocks, plus a 150 NX shot, stock 10 bolt with 3.23 gears.

I spray at 3500 rpms.

What stall speed would you suggest for this set up. What brand, or who would be good to contact for this set up. Would I want a lock up or non lock up converter.

Re: Suggest a converter

Nitrous likes efficiency with the converter, so go with a slightly smaller stall than you would otherwise. I would suggest a 2600 -2800 with about a 1.8-2.0 STR as long as the company uses a positive blade. Go lock-up. It just makes sense with a car that ever sees street time.

Re: Suggest a converter

as previously stated the n20 will generate a huge amount of extra torque .i would also suggest a 2800 stall which will leave another 3000 rpms to accellerate the car.we make an excellent nitrous converter with a heavy duty anti ballooning plate and 1 year warrantee.contact us if you are interested in additional information.www.ckperformance.com
