Suddenly difficult to get M6 in reverse

The other day when I was going to back out of my drive, i noticed it was a lot harder to get my trans into reverse. Any idea of what the cause is?

Re: Suddenly difficult to get M6 in reverse

See if the fuse that controls the reverse lockout solenoid is blown, on LS1's it's the ENG SEN fuse. Something easy to check...

Re: Suddenly difficult to get M6 in reverse

Could be clutch. Reverse does not have a synchro like the foward gears. So if the clutch is not releasing fully, it will be harder.

Mine does this. I used a spec pressure plate and a mcleod clutch and it doesn't release fully.
