Ok so for the last few days I have been racking my brain trying to figure this out.

I recently replaced a busted tranny mount, and ever since then i have been getting this knock sound when i get on or off the throttle slightly. If i hit the gas hard I dont hear it. I can only hear it when im crusing at about 30 or so and tap the gas to accelerate or let of the gas.

So far ive replaced the transmission mount and the torque arm mount. I replaced the front brakes and noticed that the passenger side Upper Control Arm bushings had some play in them, would those control arm bushings cause that weird knock? If not, what else should i be looking at?

Its a 95 Z28. Only mod is a cat back.

My throttle cable would hit the bottom of the cowl/overhang sheet metal because I removed that stupid ugly arm holder. I have the traction control module. Don't know if this is your problem.
