strange 12 bolt, lots of drivetrain loss??

The reason I ask is, i have one I'm putting in and when i try to turn the axle shafts by hand on the 12 bolt, it seriously feels 4 times as hard to turn then the stock 10 bolt. It feels like there is so much friction that when I try and turn them compared to the 10 bolt, atleast twice. Is this normal?????

preload???

you purchased a new one assembled??? when new bearings are installed they must be properly loaded or when they wear in the will prematurely fail. drivetrain loss will be minimal arter break-in is performed. or the axle is set-up improperly.

this one is brand new from the factory(factory assembled not broken in yet), has never been driven on yet. What you said makes sense, after the break in I'll know.

THanks

Brian
