I just reached the 1000 miles on mine, and per their instructions which was a STICKER on the axle it says to change the fluid. IT says to fill it with 2 quarts non-synthetic gear oil and one bottle GM limited slip additive. I have the upgraded posi with the preload cover option. I filled it with what it said on the sticker however to me it seems a little to little?? Usually on the stocker the fluid is filled until it reaches the fill hole, with 2 qts the fluid in the 12 bolt didn't get nearly that full. I emailed strange engineering for confirmation(could be they had the wrong sticker on my axle) but has anyone else have any input on this?? Is 2 qts what I really need, just want to be extra sure because this axle isn't cheap.
