Just had someone look at his old flywheel. There is an N after the part # so according to centerforce that means it is nodular.

Bump.

Same question, anyone want to confirm the answer?

For the Powergrip HD clutch it says the following:
"The Ram Powergrip HD clutch sets are designed for use with RAM billet steel or factory nodular iron (explosion-resistant) flywheels."

So that is why I need to know.

They say that because the Powergrip HD bites hard. A high RPM clutch dump with a hard biting clutch can blow your flywheel apart. So unless you plan on doing that, the stocker works just fine. If you plan on moderate track use, then upgrade the flywheel to a stronger unit.

Maybe that wording is inferring that the stock plate IS nodular. ???

That confused me a bit.

The same thing is said in ALL Ram Powergrip HD Clutch Kit descriptions, not just the LT1 one.
