Stock Clutch Replacement

Hey guys im going to be swapping my a4 to m6 and im just looking for a stock clutch at the moment as i plan to pull the motor in a year or to as its high miles. Does anyone here have an experience with Rams HD replacement clutch to a stock off the shelf clutch. The stock Ram clutch seems to be cheaper but is it any better then say an ac delco or autozone stock clutch?

Want to here some feedback... thanks guys!

if i were you i would get a cheap clutch kit, because that comes with a valeo lt4 pressure plate and then get yourself a mcleod single disk to go in and just trash the disk that comes with the kit

Went to Autozone today and they said the pp was NYA (not yet available)???? Do you have to buy it as a kit? Anyone have the autozone pt#?

cool thanks guys... well the stocker clutch kits i have a choice of are not valeos so im not sure if these other brands are similar. just plain i can get a ram hd replacement clutch cheaper then a stock name brand. Is that cheap Ram clutch a bit better quality then say a stock name brand?

Thanks!

they are all valeo lt4, every one you can possibly find. any kit you buy look on the back of the pp and valeo will be stamped on it. even expensive kits use the same one.

thats why i said to buy a cheap kit and a good disk

Read the clutch/flywheel sticky at the top in the drivetrain section. Just click back from here and go to top.
