Stall Question
Stall Question
Mods listed below. I'm thinking of having my 3500 stall Yank converter restalled to 4000. The goal is to have a brake stall of 3200. The STR will be 2.6 I believe. What do you think?

Re: Stall Question
Have you talked to Yank yet? I would tell them your set up and see what they say. Is this a track only car? Street/strip?, etc....Years ago I was told by Vicki at PI (Vig) that generally you want the converter to stall at 900 rpm below the torque peak for a street/strip set up...You got a rear coming anytime soon? Sounds like a beast...

Re: Stall Question
Actually Yank reccomened the stall because I wanted a brake stall of 3200. I gave him my list of mods etc. I have a funny feeling they think I have a LS1 because no company Ive seen reccomends over 3600 for a LT1. Fuddle reccomened 3600. I may just go 3800 to be safe. I do agree about getting it on the dyno and basing my descion of that but it's not a option at the moment.
