Question Spohn Torque Arm problem

I have a 1993 Z28 and I just got a spohn body mount adsjustable torque arm from a board member. Everything on the arm is perfect. I got it properly installed and adjusted at work today. The problem is that whenever shifting hard, downshifting, or hitting a good bump in the road it sounds like someone is hitting the underside of the car with a 100Lb sledge hammer. Everything is tight and there are no clearence issues becuase I checked everything with the suspension fully loaded and unloaded. It sound like it is coming from the polyurethane bushing that mounts the Torque arm to the crossmember behind the trans. Anyone have this problem. I did a search but did not come up with anything helpful. Thanks.

Did you leave the tranny mount or torque arme mount unbolted? That sounds like what happen to me whey I broke the tranny mount.
